Hmm, so it seems many people think it will sound better if you ignore the zh, ch and sh in
mandarin and only say z, c and s... Quite interesting.

school to learn Chinese. You have come here to learn Chinese. Why don’t you want to speak
Chinese?” ...

also, most Chinese people in the U.S. are not mandarin speakers. If you try to speak Mandarin to
them, they would probably reply in English. And the Chinese accent...
