High-temperature sand therapy in Turpan

Although temperature of Xinjiang's Turpan remained over 40 degrees
Celsius for a few days, such high temperature can not stop tourists from
all over China from coming to enjoy hot sand therapy here. Sand therapy
of Turpan is a traditional folk therapeutics integrating sun bath,
magnetic therapy and massage therapy. As the sand in Turpan contains
plenty of magnetite filings, it has been proved evidently effective for
curing arthritis, lumbago and leg pain.
