A female journalist was carefully appreciating a pair of rouge-red glazed
cups dated back to Emperor Yongzheng's reign (1677-1735) of the Qing
Dynasty (1616-1911) as one of its first viewers on Apr. 27. The "Qing
Dynasty Imperial Monochromes: The Zande Lou Collection" will be unveiled
at the Capital Museum on Apr. 29, bringing a golden opportunity for
ceramic collectors and the audience during the May Day golden week. This
exhibition will display 54 pieces of Qing Dynasty imperial monochrome
ceramics preserved by Mr. J. M. Hu, the late owner of famous collection
organization Zande Lou, in the past decades.
