Beijing Chaoyang Park to open lantern festival

As the traditional Lantern Festival approaches, Beijing Chaoyang Park's
large-scale lantern festival themed "harmonious China, attractive
Chaoyang District, a beautiful evening in a prosperous time" for the year
2006 became a new light spot in Beijing. On the evening of this Lantern
Festival, 40 groups of superb lanterns, 33 groups of medium-sized
lanterns and nearly 1,000 small lanterns will feast visitors to the park,
and this magnificent lantern culture pageant will last until Feb. 14.
