CAS established Center for Forecasting Science

Center for Forecasting Science of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS),
China's first organization for forecasting science research, was
officially established in Beijing on Feb. 16th. Lu Yongxiang, deputy
chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and
head of CAS, hosted the unveiling ceremony for the center of
multidisciplinary, cross research. Lu indicated that the Center for
Forecasting Science of CAS will give science-based suggestions for
China's significant decisions and also expected that the center will
build up characteristic "China school" with untiring efforts.
