A flock of seagulls were hovering and seeking for food freely at the
coastal area of Hebei's Beidaihe on Oct. 8, 2005. Another peak of
migratory birds in Beidaihe's coastal wetland arrived. Because of
Beidaihe's unique geological location, its coastline and mountains on
land are landmarks for birds in their migration. Therefore, it becomes an
important passage and post house during the course of birds' migration.
