Leading tax payers got rewards

Xishan District Committee and Government of Yunnan's Kunming appropriated
seven million yuan (US$868,000) on Feb. 16th to reward 57 enterprises and
48 individuals that paid over three million yuan of tax last year. Tax
payment of nine enterprises exceeded 10 million yuan for the first time
and each of them will be additionally awarded a Peugeot 307 sedan. Four
enterprises whose tax payment exceeded 10 million yuan and outnumbered
that of the previous year will be given an extra 100,000 yuan bonus.
Enterprises receiving a reward included both state-owned enterprises and
non-public enterprises.
