The son of Huang Kaining, a villager in Hainan's Qionghai, is playing
with the python raised by the family on Aug. 15. In August, 1996, when
working in the field, Huang Kaining found a small wounded boa, took it
home immediately and raised it. Nine years later, the boa has grown from
one foot long into a python at the weight of an adult and at the length
of over four meters. This python has become a close friend of Huang's son.
