An attendee was reading photograph boards on Lifeline Express's free
cataract surgery for needy patients on Mar. 2. From 1997 to the end of
2005, the express hospital, which was established on Hong Kong people's
donation to offer free eyesight restoring operations to needy cataract
sufferers, has sent three "Lifeline Expresses" to restore 54,225 cataract
patients' eyesight in 56 areas in 20 provinces, autonomous regions and
municipalities of China.
