The oldest shadow play troupe in Shandong

The photo taken on Aug. 3 shows Ma Qingfa, one of the initiators of
Shanhua Shadow Play troupe and the shadow play figure "fierce tiger" he
collected. Shanhua Shadow Play Troupe in Shanting District, Zaozhuang,
Shandong is the oldest shadow play troupe maintaining the primitive ways
of performance in southwestern Shandong. The troupe still preserves a
batch of shadow play figures in the late Qing Dynasty (1616AD-1911AD).
