Spring Orchid Exhibition 2006

Feb. 23 - Spring Orchid Exhibition 2006 was held at Macao's Lou Lim Lok
Garden from Feb. 17th to the 21st. China has a long history of planting
orchid and has a wide variety of orchid.
Orchid varieties such as New Year's orchid, Datun Kylin dark orchid,
peony of national aroma (flower resembles peony) , jade lion, South China
Sea orchid and Southland Red orchid were on display.
The exhibits of leaf art were mainly composed of dharma orchid in medium
or low height. In addition, the exhibition also included orchid parterres
showing various varieties of orchid.
