Farmers receive free books in Chongqing Municipality, February 22, 2006.
More than 37, 000 books on agriculture, practical technology and law were
distributed to farmers as part of the "book delivery to rural areas of
Chongqing Municipality" activity. The exercise was aimed at allowing
farmers to acquire greater knowledge in these fields and was organised by
the Chongqing Ministry of Publicity of the municipal party committee and
the Chongqing press publication bureau.
