Nine-dragon columns

www.chinanews.cn 2006-02-24 15:24:32

Two nine-dragon columns, 19 meters in height, 2 meters in diameter and
135 tons in weight each, stand firm in front of the sight square of China
Fujian-Taiwan Relationship Museum, and the staff were taking down
scaffolds on Feb. 22. As the first impression of the museum, these two
nine-dragon columns form a complete sight with the 12-meter-long sleeping
stele on which the name of the museum was written.
